British Countryside Poster

I initially designed this for myself, my walls needed cheering up one day and whilst I had a hundred other things I should have been doing, I did this instead. These are the things that were going through my head when choosing the colours:

• January - Snowdrops; hazel catkins; cold skies; mudflats; winter pansy; cyclamen; house sparrows
• February - Crocus; hyacinth; snow; daffodil shoots; leadened skies; muscari; buzzards
• March - Daffodils; fresia; new shoots; algae; frogs
• April - Swallow; moss; tulips; rose; caterpillars
• May - Iris; poppies; warmer skies; impatiens; bluebells; red kites; cherry blossom
• June - Warm skies; sand dunes; mown lawns; butterflies; strawberries
• July - Gorse; ladybirds; gerbera; buttercups; sea
• August - Sun; wheat fields; agapanthus; bumble bees
• September - Blackberries; autumn leaves; foxes; evergreens
• October - Haws; rosehips; sunsets; conkers; hedgehogs;
• November - Lichen; fallen leaves; fallow fields; deep skies; bluetits
• December - Clear starry nights; dogwood; snow; primrose; robins; holly; ivy;
